Tutor Summer Picnic, August 11 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This month&#8217;s Midlands Independent Tutors meetup will start at 11.30 am on August 11 2016 at Lickey Hills Country Park, just SW of Birmingham. \u00a0We are planning a summer picnic, provided the Great British summer holds up, but if it doesn&#8217;t there is a cafe within the park for coffee and food. \u00a0Please bring food and drinks to share with you. \u00a0There is free parking for those who prefer to drive and it is accessible by train (closest station, Barnt Green) for those who prefer public transport.<\/p>\n<p>This is an opportunity to meet with other like minded tutors, relax, have fun and talk tutoring (whether that be success stories, gripes or simply discussions with others in the same boat). \u00a0We are now a small group of tutors who have been meeting on a monthly basis since March and it is always nice to welcome new faces. \u00a0Previous meet-ups have resulted in exchange of tutoring tips and ideas as
