She holds a PhD in Analytical Biochemistry from Imperial College London and has spent many years leading internationally recognised cutting edge research and applying this to her teaching in her previous position as a tenured Lecturer in Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham. She is an Editorial Board member for several international, reputable scientific journals and has an impressive record of research publications, owing to nearly 20 years as a research-active scientist.<\/p>\n
Clare is a current, experienced GCSE and A-level examiner, which means she understands exactly what exam boards are looking for.\u00a0 She also sat on the examination board for the award of the MPharm degree for nearly a decade.<\/p>\n
Clare covers all three sciences and maths at GCSE, biology and chemistry at A’ level and selected topics in biology, biochemistry, chemistry and pharmacy at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.\u00a0 She enjoys working with a wide range of students, from those who need extra support due to special educational needs (SEN) to those aiming for top grades. Her lessons are always tailored to the individual, with a focus on building confidence as well as knowledge.<\/p>\n
